We understand the importance of reducing the impact of our activities on the environment – that is why we teamed up with the smart people at TerraCycle Inc. an international up-cycling company that takes ‘difficult-to-recycle’ or non-recycable packaging and turns it into new, innovative, eco-friendly products.

To collect and up-cycle T DISCS and their outer foil wrappers is much better for the environment - because it means packaging waste can be diverted from landfill. The T DISCS can be turned into cool items i.e. coasters or flower pots. While the foil of the outer wrappers can be used for notebook covers or pencil Cases.

Upcycle with TASSIMO and TerraCycle in just 4 simple steps:

Step 1: Click on the link to open an account with TerraCycle. Take an old box from your home or office. Anything would do but always remember to fit a liner or a plastic bag in it, to avoid leakage!

Step 2: Fill the box with your used T DISCS and Foil Wrappers. Remember your TASSIMO cardboard dispensers can be recycled with normal paper.
Step 3: When the box is full, tie the liner tightly and seal the box securely with strong tape.
Step 4: Log in to your TerraCycle account (at www.terracycle.co.uk), download the relevant postage slip, print it and stick it to your box and than drop your box at your nearest postal collection point.

For each returned T DISC and foil packaging a donation of 2p* will be made to your chosen charity by TerraCycle Inc. on your behalf.
