Cappuccino Cookies

  • 1 TASSIMO Carte Noire Cappuccino (1 T DISC Carte Noire Espresso and 1 T DISC Carte Noire Foaming Milk Creamer)
  • 100 g margarine
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 150 g flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 100 g nut (e.g. walnuts, macadamia nuts or almonds)
  • 1 Preheat oven to 175 °C (convection). Prepare TASSIMO Carte Noire Cappuccino as usual using the TASSIMO coffee maker. Mix the margarine, sugar, 1 pinch salt and the hot Cappuccino with the electric hand mixer until smooth, beat in the egg.
  • 2 Blend the flour and baking powder well and stir into the mixture. Chop the nuts coarsely and fold them into the dough.
  • 3 Place the dough by tablespoons on two cookie sheets lined with baking paper leaving some space in between. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, then allow to cool on the cookie sheet.
  • 4 The cookies may be removed from the oven while they are still a little soft. They will become firm as they cool off, but remain soft and crisp.
