Still the best tasting coffee ever...
I first tried this (filter) coffee in 1976 in the Netherlands - it convinced me to buy a filter machine and it became my drink of choice. Couldn't buy it on my return to UK, but I'm delighted to be able to buy it from Tassimo now.
If you just want a great, classy coffee, no crema, no steamed milk or syrup shots, this is the one.
Jacobs Krönung is as perfect as it always was - thanks

Like filter coffee
This is a good, fine tasting coffee, just like filter coffee, which makes a nice change from the crema coffees.
I would defenitely recommend this coffee.

Not as it should be by a large margin. Kronung drinkers will be sorely disappointed.
I am not too sure who decided on the coffee measure in this product. It is far too weak and bears no resemblance to the product in Germany. It is a dark roast and should therefore be quite strong, not so. Having drunk Kronung for over 12 years, Tassimo have done this great coffee no favours. I suggest you re-evaluate the dosage.

As flat as the Dutch landscape (and tastes like their soil!)
As per the title, to be honest. The taste is strange and it looks like a black instant brew. Sorry guys!

Worst Coffee EVER
My first impression of this coffee as it was brewing, was that it didn't have the usual nice creamy froth other coffees have. There was no pressure being exerted into the water (it was actually so bad afterwards I cleaned my machine thinking their was a fault). The stream of coffee was a very VERY pale brown water not like the rich chocolaty dark browns of other brands.
In the end you are left with a very watery, light brownish weak tasting drink. Even if you try to get paste this glass of luke warm brown water the actual taste of so dire I am not impressed at all. It's a shame cause Jacobs Lattes are actually quite nice.
